Fromberger	c24f003b55	protoio: fix incorrect test assertion (#7606 ) After writing and then reading a bunch of random messages, the test was checking that it did not read the same number of messages that it wrote. The sense of this check was inverted; they should match. Introduced by accident in #7522. I'm not sure why this did not show up in CI. Edit: I now know why it didn't show up in ci: #7608.	3 years ago

Erik Grinaker	660e72a12f	p2p/conn: migrate to Protobuf (#4990 ) Migrates the p2p connections to Protobuf. Supersedes #4800. gogoproto's `NewDelimitedReader()` uses an internal buffer, which makes it unsuitable for reading individual messages from a shared reader (since any remaining data in the buffer will be discarded). We therefore add a new `protoio` package with an unbuffered `NewDelimitedReader()`. Additionally, the `NewDelimitedWriter()` returns the number of bytes written, and we've added `MarshalDelimited()` and `UnmarshalDelimited()`, to ease migration of existing code.	4 years ago
