upgraded firmware from v2.30 rev0 to v2.40 rev2.
No issues to report. The switch boots and works as expected.
This should resolve the TLS issue as now the Web UI has been renovated, but not improved, and the HTTPS configs on the switch allow for the negatiation and use of TLS 1.2 .
V2.40 fixes the following interseting bugs:
- rev0
- allow download of running configuration without authentication
- rev1
- syslog messages are lost when buffer is full
- rev2
- memory leak in multicast module leads to reboot
- device can now be configured over ssh/telnet
The release documents are more detailed but the long-standing issue of losing config after a power failure has not been resolved.
